Riverside Cultural Center

The mixed-use building comprises approximately 8,650 square meters of community space, including fitness facilities, a library, and child and daycare services. Currently disconnected from the green public spaces developed along the Han river, the main goal of the project is to return the area to the public by creating a community center with public green spaces. The building's facade is designed to function like a cell wall in a living organism, protecting the interior space while also ensuring communication with the exterior. The hovering canopy aims to provide shelter for programmatic activities and visitors, who can follow a semi-enclosed but sheltered community space. Additionally, all programmed spaces have their own balconies to promote an indoor and outdoor relationship.
